Woohoo! Fast Order Processing from Dell

I ordered an Axim 300MHz for a Christmas gift on Saturday the 14th. I was planning on it being a little late for Christmas and the order confirmation said it would ship out on the 27th.
Lo and behold, I just got an email saying it was shipped out on the 15th. With free next business day shipping, it should be here tomorrow! Thank goodness it's my day off so I will be here to sign for it.
Three days from order to my doorstep is a lot better than I was expecting since I have been reading about the delays.

Post your experience - lots of people rec'd a paper confirmation of their orders in the mail before the 'real' shipment.

Yeah, that sucks, the first confirmation email was for the "0 invoice". Geez why do they bother? Anyways, it ended up shipping this week and I got it today on Christmas. Just in time!
So, it ended up being 10 days, still not a bad turnaround time. Guess the supply must be coming in now.

Well Dell was very fast. I ordered my Axim5x+ lat on Dec 24th, Giving time for Christmas I was not expecting it to ship any time soon.

Boy am I surprised, just checked the status at 12:00 Pm my time (10 am) their time and guess what... The unit is already in UPS's hands and on its way to me. That is about 10 working hours to get it to UPS, I think thats amazing.

Hoping to see it either tommorow or Monday.

I ordered mine on 12/22 (Sunday!!!). The shipping date was supposed to be 01/02:(

It came less than 48 hours later. Great for me, bad for my Amex bill.
