Thanks for the welcome, friends.
Is everyone's weather program still on the fritz? Chicago weather changes about every 5 min. and I use this app almost everyday. I miss it so!

Re: Weather app by DeluxeWare (No longer freeware - Now Commercial)
According to deluxeware tech support as of Sunday, 8/30/09:
"We have a difficult problem with raid hard drive and mother-board at our main information server.
I suppose it takes 2 days more to restore our server.
We apologize for the inconvenience."
Gotta love the tech support syntax. At least their responses are timely!

True on both counts. It's been clear since this program first made an appearance that English is not the primary language of the developers. They listened and made grammatical and spelling changes to the app as it progressed. But their emails are obviously not checked.

Welcome to Brighthand, Tbes770.

Thanks for the update.
I also found that when I tried to update around noon EDT the data responded.

Re: Weather app by DeluxeWare (No longer freeware - Now Commercial)
Resurrecting (reopening) this old thread because once again the app is failing to update weather info. Last successful update was on Saturday, July 28, 2012. Updates have failed every day since then. Going to DeluxeWear site shows that they are no longer listing any Palm software whatsoever. This may be the end, folks.
Adding this failed weather app to the failure of 4Cast last month leaves me with kMeteo as the only weather app functioning on my Palm devices.
