Host of Google updates, Google+, Google Currents...

Google updates their stuff constantly and fast. These two makes me very happy especially.

First, Google Currents is now a real usable app. It does background updating instead of updating slowly when you use it. It is far more usable now and I will say, its has now the potential of becoming a killer app on the Android platform. Especially for tablets. Currents now adds to my news reading on my tablet along with FLUD, Feedly, Taptu, Pulse News Reader and Google Reader. I especially find the Currents user interface and readability to be very pleasant. Google Currents, along with the Pulse, are the only two news readers that will preview links on the mobile Google+, although the new update to the Google+ mobile app now makes such exclusivity moot.

Second. Google+ gets a major update on the web --- looks very nice and efficient in many ways but leaves also white space more than I like. At first I hated it but in a day or two, I liked it more. Its also seems faster than before. The mobile Google+ app is also updated so it can now preview the links you share like it does on the web. Along with hashtag support, this is the update I have been waiting for.

I didn't know currents existed, but I used to use that mag-esque flip thing they had partially integrated into google news a lot. I'll have to look into it.

However, the newest Google Update seems to be a bit awkward. The serps are so mixed. Hopw it will soon become more stable.
