Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
I still check in, but whether I can help depends on how simple the problems are. The best support comes from the xda-developers link in the first post.

Is your wifi network encrypted with WEP? If so, read this: http://xdandroid.com/wiki/FAQ#How_do..._encryption.3F

Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
I crash mine a least once a day... :/
But... when it is working... Love it!
Thanks for the wiki link Mi An. I was missing out on MMS, and now I can hook up to some of my WEP sites as well.
Thanks again...Current Device: Samsung Galaxy Note II - Rooted Stock ROM

Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
You're quite welcome. I used to only experience crashes on new program installs (more like every third install/uninstall -- that's more of an FRX7 thing for me, FRX6 was a little more stable), and those don't take me all the way out to winmo, just back to the XDAndroid boot sequence.
May I ask if you use your GPS radio at all? That's always had some instability associated with it. Also, do you place winmo in airplane mode before opening haret? That helps. And finally, when I reboot purposefully, I find android itself behaves more smoothly if I place it in airplane before rebooting (that it, it works better when it's in airplane mode while booting). Occasionally, now, I end up in a reboot loop because when the reboot is unintentional I'm not putting android in airplane mode, and that stresses the boot up process a little more, and it keeps rebooting until I can get it to respond to the power button hold so I can get it into airplane. That's pretty extreme and relatively new for me. I'm thinking of ditching my old data image and starting fresh and restoring with titanium (must have for xdandroid).
I'm actually still missing out on MMS, I've just never been motivated to mess with it.I, for one, welcome our feline overlords.

Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
I do use GPS, but only when specifically asked for such as Google Nav, at which point I enable GPS.
I have not heard of setting WinMo in Airplane Mode before booting to Android. However, that does warrant trial.
I do get reboots after doing installs. It comes and goes...
I'm getting a few complete crashes down to WinMo per week, but I also think I'm beating my device to a pulp with what I'm asking it to do. I'd love a real android device, but my wallet barely has enough to pay the cell bill, let alone the electric bill to charge it.

Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
I actually love my TP2 the way it is. When I'm not in an install/tweak phase, it doesn't crash at all and I might only reset it once a week. I can't point to any phone on the market I'd rather use than this one at the moment due to the form factor, even though I do envy the speed at which high end devices with official builds run and their slightly higher software compatibility. Even if I had the money, I'd at least be hesitant to upgrade. I am sorry your isn't running as smoothly.
Crash all the way to winmo? I just can't even remember the last time I had that. I don't mean to intrude too much, but may I ask what kernel you are running? Just the date the zimage was altered/created would tell me if you're not sure.I, for one, welcome our feline overlords.

And worry not... I don't care what you ask about on my phone... I'd rather get this thing running smooth!
