Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
Do you guys use them for something in particular? I'm not sure many people with a superphone would spend much time with a TP2. I love the form factor enough I might, but I seem to be rare in that respect.

It is my bedside tablet. I still have it sync to my work email, contacts and calendar. I browse the web on it, and it is my 2nd alarmclock. I also use it to send apk files to my Fire if I can't get them through Amazon. I do miss having root. Not having it on my Shift has driven me batty at times. Save that for a rainy weekend...

Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
I don't use my TP2 for anything. It sits around, charged, with nothing to do, just waiting to be called back into service should disaster strike my E4GT. There's nothing about it my Nook or E4GT can't do. At least my TX turns on instantly and lets me play a mindless game of Dice121 every now and then. (There are times when I pick up my TX rather than another device to quickly look up a contact.)
I am interested in keeping up with XDAndroid updates for the TP2. Just in case. This Signature Line Intentionally Left Blank

Re: XDAndroid on HTC Touch Pro2
I loaded up a test version gbx0c, but I never replaced my main build. Mostly because it requires an extra step to get wifi working, and since my current setup is just right, I figure if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The newest 3.3.6 (or something like that) however has a new feature -- you can do cpu control like a normal android through apps instead using startup.txt. I probably will load that soonish.I, for one, welcome our feline overlords.
