Amazon Android App Store Open for Business

I thought about doing that, but then I was worried about how integrated the Amazon AppStore app would be in my Android system by the time I was done testing...haha (paranoid).

My quote about it not working was directly from the Amazon App Store Help page. Doesn't give me much confidence in the store or app if Amazon support gets it wrong, right?

Angry Birds Rio is also a free app -- I wonder if it's the same for paid apps? Buy an app, sign out, and let us know, okay? Haha.

Now I am hearing that the Amazon Appstore must be installed for apps to keep working.

Also, I notice they do heavy promoting of 1-click purchasing. Your digitizer better be precise and perfect if you do that. You click it-- you buy it, even if it was a mistake.

It sounds like there will be more devs jumping on the Amazon bandwagon. It may drive better games for Android if Devs are confident in the DRM.

I hate Amazon's 1-click buy button! I've done that so many times with books on my Kindle. The books can at least be returned in a timely fashion though.

Not if poorly implemented DRM ticks off all the consumers who bought Android phones for the exact opposite reason.

They're trying to shove Android into the iOS mold, and that's just never going to work (at least not well).
