Re: Ads in Graffiti for Android?
Sounds great. I look forward to unobtrusively taking notes in meetings again.
"Graffiti Anywhere" - that was it!
And I do have a stylii, Stryker, if I feel I need one. Use it to draw.
Although they look alike, the $2 one isn't near as good as the $17 one...
Well, Hook, I may be joining you soon. Any tips or good threads on transitioning from Palm to Android?Palmist 1996 - 2011

Re: Ads in Graffiti for Android?
@Girt: Should be quite a bit of information in the Android forum as there are a few of us.
I went ahead and downloaded version 2.05 of Graffiti and, really, it isn't terrible. It will show you an ad if you leave the VG area up but aren't doing anything with it (which isn't that often for me). The ad goes away instantly as soon as you start doing anything. All of the ads are, in fact, Access ads.
By the way, the network access isn't anything new-- it happened with version 1.02, when they introduced the Youtube tutorials. It may not even be worth anything to turn off the ads, though i will probably pay for an ad-free version if they put it out.
Also, you can still find the version 2.04 apk file for sideloading at pdassi if you installed 2.05 and wish to roll back. Don't know how long it will remain available.

Re: Ads in Graffiti for Android?
Yeah, those ads are terrible.
Hope we can get the non-ads version soon.

Re: Ads in Graffiti for Android?
There is now a Grafitti Pro in the market place. $3. It gets rid of the Ad and eliminates network access.
Very nice. It might be a touch faster, but I could be imagining it. You can delete the old Graffiti after you install it. Don't know if getting rid of the ad and network access was worth $3, but I prefer it.Hook's Stories

Re: Ads in Graffiti for Android?
I installed version 2.04 yesterday and wow, what a memory trip (and I mean that in a good way)! I haven't seen any ads yet (thanks to AdFree, I think), either.
